Guidelines
Welcome to the US Constitutionalist community. These forums exist to encourage thoughtful discussion of American history, the Constitution, current events, and publications produced by US Constitutionalist Press, including America at 250: Triumph, Conflict and the American Experiment.
Our goal is to create an environment where people with differing viewpoints can engage in respectful and productive conversations.
1. Be Respectful
Treat fellow members with courtesy and respect.
Disagreements are welcome. Personal attacks are not.
Debate ideas, interpretations, and opinions—not the character or motives of other members.
2. Keep Discussions Civil
Healthy debate is encouraged. Harassment, intimidation, threats, trolling, or deliberately disruptive behavior are not.
Members are expected to discuss topics in good faith and contribute constructively to conversations.
3. Stay On Topic
Post content in the appropriate forum section and keep discussions relevant to the subject being discussed.
Occasional tangents are natural, but repeatedly derailing discussions may result in moderator action.
4. No Hate Speech or Illegal Content
Content that promotes violence, criminal activity, terrorism, or unlawful behavior is prohibited.
Discussions of historical events and controversial subjects are permitted when presented in an educational, historical, or scholarly context.
5. No Spam or Self-Promotion
Do not post unsolicited advertisements, promotional content, referral links, or repetitive messages.
Reasonable sharing of relevant resources may be permitted when it contributes to the discussion.
6. Respect Copyrights
Only post content that you have the right to share.
When quoting books, articles, or other copyrighted works, use brief excerpts and provide proper attribution whenever possible.
7. Protect Your Privacy
Do not post personal information about yourself or others, including:
Home addresses
Telephone numbers
Email addresses
Financial information
Private correspondence
Anything posted publicly may be visible to other users and search engines.
8. Historical Discussions
History is often complex, controversial, and open to interpretation.
Members are encouraged to support their arguments with evidence, sources, and reasoned discussion. Disagreement is expected; hostility is not.
The purpose of this community is to learn, explore, and discuss—not to silence differing viewpoints.
9. Moderator Authority
Moderators and administrators may edit, move, lock, or remove content that violates these guidelines.
Repeated violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.
10. Account Responsibility
Members are responsible for all activity conducted through their accounts.
Do not share your login credentials with others.
11. Reporting Problems
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please use the report feature or contact a moderator rather than responding in a disruptive manner.
12. Have Fun and Learn Something
The story of America spans centuries and includes triumph, conflict, innovation, sacrifice, and debate. This community exists to explore that story together.
We welcome historians, students, veterans, educators, researchers, readers, and anyone with an interest in America's past, present, and future.
Thank you for being part of the US Constitutionalist community.
